Recruit Requirements for Admissibility
Once a recruit is enrolled into the CFP program, he/she has six months (180 days) to complete both the practicum and the test, also obtaining an AED/CPR certification is necessary in order to be fulling certified. The AED/CPR certification is available in your area. Please contact AASM customer support should you need assistance finding a certificate/testing center in your area. If a recruit will need an extension on their CFP program, a 60 day extension may be permitted by contacting AASM customer support for this purchase. Exceptions for Qualified Recruits
AASM is a military supportive certification institute and value our military servicemen, women, and veterans. AASM has implemented a military discount in certification enrollment. Any military service member who can show proof that they’ve served in the U.S. Military are eligible to receive this discount. AASM will need copy of any of the following:
AASM is a full supporter of our first responders, corrections, firefighters, and Department of Homeland Security agencies as well. We reserve the right to discount these service members at the same discount rate as the military discount available on the AASM website. All servicemen and women who are affiliated with the police, fire, sheriff’s office, corrections, and DHS need to show proof that they are qualified by showing proof they are involved as a full time employee in these sectors. As a AASM recruit, one must be 18 years of age in order to gain access to the certification and final exam. Due to age and labor laws required at the federal level, most employers in the fitness industry may require a possible candidate for employment at least 18 years of age to be considered as a possible employee.
